Brian Greene"Space and Time Since Einstein"
In conjunction with the Strings 2000 conference being held on the University of Michigan campus, July 10 through 15, there will be a free public lecture given by string theorist, author, and broadcaster Brian Greene. The title of the lecture is "Space and Time Since Einstein".
Brian Greene's recent book on string theory, The Elegant Universe, is a best-seller. Brian also had a cameo role in the recent movie Frequency (you can even look up Brian Greene in the Intenet Movie Database).
Brian Greene received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his doctorate from Oxford University. He is currently Professor of Physics and Mathematics at Columbia University.
When and Where The lecture will be held on Monday July 10 at 8:00 PM in the main lecture theater in the Chemistry Department ("1800 Chemistry") on the University of Michigan Campus.
All members of the public are invited to attend.
