- Research Activities
My research has spanned a broad range of topics in field theory,
especially those motivated by experimental data or potential results. I
have also done research in cosmology and phase transitions in the early
universe. In the past several years, my interests have turned to more
esoteric matters having to do with the consistency of quantum gravity, the
cosmological constant problem, supergravity, and superstring theory.
- Sponsored Research
I share a DoE contract in elementary particle theory with R. Akhoury, K.
Freese, G. L. Kane, R. Stuart, and Y.-P. Yao, which supports four
postdoctoral fellows and a number of graduate students. I personally have
one thesis student currently, A. Mecke.
